Secret Wars Balloons!

msh_sw_balloons

It's amazing to me that any of these ended up still packaged, because most true comics geeks would've opened the package up to see which heroes were represented on the balloons, as well as whether or not the balloons were the same or different!

Secret Wars Ball Blaster!

msh_sw_ballblaster.jpg

OK, so maybe I was wrong yesterday... the ping-pong ball gun (here called a "Ball Blaster") has been a rack toy standard for decades! I myself used to have a Hulk one, a long time ago. I'm certain there's also been Spider-Man and Batman versions, too!

Happy Fourth of July!

To celebrate America's birthday, here's a Giant-Size Captain Ameriblog posting!

msh_stampalbum.jpg

First up is the Marvel Super Heroes Stamp Album. This is a 1970s item produced by a manufacturer who somehow thought there'd be a crossover market between comics fans and stamp collectors. These days, only geeks like me are interested in 'em!

msh_stickers2.JPG

Have I posted a photo of these stickers before? Well, then I'm posting it again!

msh_stickons3.jpg

I know I haven't posted this before! The Stick-Ons mark was on DC and Marvel characters, and you've probably seen ads for these in the DC and Marvel comics of the 1970s, although I think they showed them much larger than actual size! These should absolutely be reissued!

msh_strategygame.JPG

Next up is the Marvel Super-Heroes Strategy Game, which Cap is featured on. I've tried to buy this game a few times, but have always been outbid!

And we'll wrap up this post with the Super Hero Saver, featuring Cap and Spider-Man!

Gulliver (Argentina) Spidey and Cap Boat!

msh_spideycapboat_gulliver.jpg

Have I mentioned yet that Gulliver and other Argentina manufacturers really kicked butt when it came to producing superhero merchandise? While this isn't the greatest toy in the world, you have to admit, nobody in the States produced anything quite like it!

Ah, I thought I had a photo of the sparkle gun on the package in my files!
