Hey, Cap fought the Constrictor a few times, I figure I can include this figure in the blog! Mattel did a decent job of this, even though the Constrictor's whips just fit into his hands, and weren't attached to 'em.
I like the fact that Redwing was included with this figure... I just wish the wings were better! Still, considering the Falcon wasn't involved with the Secret Wars comic, I guess I can't complain, eh?
I'm guessing that the presence of Captain America on this box means that the View-Master reels from two days ago are included in this set, in the "Talking View-Master" format with soundtrack!
Unlike the View-Master slides I posted a photo of yesterday, I am willing to bet that these two movie viewer cartridges actually do use bits of the 1960s cartoons!
Whenever I come across a View-Master set on ebay that's based on a comic book character, I always have to wonder if it's adapted from a cartoon or not... My suspicion here is that the Cap View-Master set was created expressly for View-Master!
These are adapted from the two volumes of the Steranko History of Comics, just without the logos... almost a "Where's Waldo?" for the geek crowd, as we try to identify all the characters on them!
